The Citizens' Co-operative Bank Ltd. was established in Oct.1978 by a group of persons committed to social cause with a motive to cater to the financial needs of all segments of society. The bank has grown tremendously and got excellent support from its dedicated employees, who worked with untiring zeal. The Citizen's Co-operative Bank has many feathers in its cap. It is the first bank in the region to bring the concept of modernizing its branches to give a congenial working atmosphere to its clients and better working conditions to staff. The Citizens' Co-operative Bank is amongst the few banks in Cooperative Sector to work on thorough professional lines and extending personalized customer services. Bank has installed dual display note counting machines in its branches and Coin Dispensing Machines at few Centers to the beifit of customer. The bank is pioneer in introducing the concept of publishing of photograph of defaulters along with their guarantors in the newspaper which the other banks followed.
